Working closely with event organisers, we aim to provide exactly the right amount and style of equipment to meet your needs. Too much sound at a small event can be both costly and counter-productive, annoying visitors and exhibitors alike. On the other hand, too little coverage at a large event could be disastrous for safety, rendering the PA useless.

A good PA system should facilitate timely commentary throughout the event, helping keep everyone fully informed.

An effective PA system, reaching all corners of the ground, is an essential tool in addressing health and safety needs—from lost children to medical and emergency calls, the PA system reaches all.

We have four mobile commentary units, all self contained and equipped with professional quality sound and amplification equipment. They range from 2.5m to 7.5m in length, the largest providing ample space for up to eight people to work in comfort at one full length desk. Serving as a perfect base they can also allow roaming commentators to work at ranges of up to 400m (max).

Power is supplied via heavy duty batteries, which can deliver sufficient electricity for a four day event on a single charge. This allows the units to be placed in areas where generator noise could be detrimental.

All units come complete with the latest UHF radio microphone equipment, providing the best in reception and clarity. Being trailer-based, all units can be positioned exactly where needed - for best visibility across the event.

We can also supply equipment to cover a range of indoor events, from presentations and conferences to after dinner speeches. All this equipment meets the same high standards.

It isn't just large sound systems that we offer. For smaller events we can offer portable amplifiers, once again powered by heavy duty batteries.

Loudspeakers can be mounted to marquees, or on one of our specially designed towers.

Such systems are often used at agricultural shows, for smaller sections such as cattle lines, or sheepdog trials.

Over the winter of 2009/10 Yorkshire Sound Service have taken delivery of a further batch of 2 way radios, both handheld and vehicle mounted.
