One of our specialist areas is the installation of large background music and announcing systems in factories. Working on the 100 volt line amplification system, we can run loudspeaker cables over a greater distance than is possible with the more common low impedance equipment, often used in home Hi-Fi and disco type sound systems. In some applications, it may be required to only transmit announcements to certain areas within the install, but play music to all areas. This can be achieved with the use of a zone-based system, dividing the install by room, or by area. Multiple microphones can be employed on one PA system, and integrated with a zoned loudspeaker system to give each area full control.
